We loved the hotel and Newark-on-Trent, had 1 sunny day there. The location was ideal, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Devon and Sconce Park. Set near pubs and restaurants, it was a plus. Lovely restaurant served Thai specialities.

A nice size units with tea/coffee, good view, for instance, and the staff were lovely. The hotel's location was central, right on the river. I was surprised at nearby Gannets, they had some goodies, drinks.

Excellent and perfect location right beside a pub made it easy to get to key attractions. I tried some drinks at bar Old Malt Shovel, located 5 minutes walk away. The room was tastefully decorated and had an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV.

Spent our time here lovely. We truly enjoyed double room provided with tea/coffee, the shower, as example. The location was spectacular for walking around a grade we listed castle. The breakfast food was great. No complaints whatsoever, the venue met requests, 100% recommend it.

The room was immaculately clean and fairly quiet and complete with the shower, tea/coffee plus good view. It was in the riverside location next to a nice pub. Stayed for 1 day and did not want to leave there, I will be returning here soon.
